My friend was murdered a year ago by her boyfriend. He is currently serving 21 months for indignity to human remains. He got credit for time served so he will only be in jail for another 343 days. He has been charged with second degree murder but court proceedings have not started yet.

there's one quote that lives in my brain by Alex Warren and I heard it right after my aunt died. "people die 2 times, once when they- you know die and second when you stop telling their story.".
