I’ve enjoyed this one a lot, but I would say not being able to skip certain cutscenes on different playthroughs can be a drag if you’re trying to platinum it.

short answer: yes Long answer: Until dawn was lightning in a bottle and they have not made a single good game since. it's fine if you LIKE those dark pictures games, but you cannot deny the quality has gotten worse and worse with each game. whether that's with the story, the characters, the acting, or the glitches. I think it's for the best that supermassive are not the developers of until dawn 2. they have showcased that whatever made until dawn good is no longer at that studio.
