Absolutely agree with the comments saying we should be focusing more on recruiting defensive players. We have a wicked mid field, close to the best in the league. The holes that need filling are in a defensive 50. This has become even more apparent since losing Bailey Dale. We also need to keep developing Mickey Selwood

A fit darcy that has had another year on the weights is a scary prospect, not even a dogs supporter and can see he will be hard to stop. If ya midfield and ruck are flying with an unstoppable forward having holes in defence wont really be that big of an issue. Anything but a top 4 finish is a failed year if that is the case. Not a dogs supporter either, just know how hard they will be to stop.

I think we would’ve been top 4 if we had a fit Libba next year along with Butters. But it’s about how good is butts going to be at FB, Can Hynes, Dolan, Selwood etc go another level, can Weightman get back to his best, English needs to have a better year, if it all clicks yeah it’s possible.
