Not a bang, but a whimper.. :
A lot of people didn’t like the fact that Tom Holland’s SpiderMan didn’t get an origin story. But the way I see it is that everything that happen to his version of Peter Parker/SpiderMan before brand new day WAS his origin story.

I saw someone mention this movie also reinforces that a man (or anyone) does not need to be alone. He can rely on his community and be apart of it. He can lean on friends and family when the world gets to heavy. A lot of young boys need to see that. A lot of men too. We all took away something from this movie and I think that’s the best part of it. That there is always a brand new day.

theres def ppl who watched for other reasons, but the ones who watched mainly wanting to see this plot of him “becoming” is so peak. losing everyone and everything that in ways sums up who you are, then now accepting or learning to become someone new speaks so loud. literally a “next chapter” in a book moment. BND 9/10
