If I had completely accepted the decision, would I necessarily never think or act inconsistently again—or is that just another belief? It may well be that what keeps the loop alive is not the contradictory behavior itself, but the interpretation that “this means my decision wasn’t real.” Is it possible that If that interpretation is seen as just another thought arising in awareness, the loop often begins to lose its grip. The decision no longer needs constant verification; it becomes the background from which experience unfolds rather than something that must be continually defended. Just a point of view… 🙏
