@amanda__.please: This is the feeding routine that's been working really well for me through winter. 🤍 I've been feeding my starter at a 1:4:5 ratio: 20g starter 80g warm water 100g flour I feed it once a day, use warm water, and keep it in a warm spot in my kitchen. I'm definitely not a sourdough expert, but since switching to this ratio my starter has been really happy, active and giving me great bakes. Every kitchen is different, so this is just what's been working for me :) #starter #sourdough #feeding #easybaking #EasyRecipe
My starter has caused me to lose the will to live.

Girl once I figured out how to keep a mini starter it's so much easier and less waste! If your'e not cooking with it every day of course... I use like 3gs starter and whatever ratio you want 👌🏽

I would recommend not stirring well on your scale. It can really screw it up.

I’m in Adelaide, so cold! I’m ready to chuck it in 😅 3 months and I can’t get it to double with the rise, beautiful bubbles but no rise. Currently doing 20g starter, 60g water, 60g flour!

At 1.4.4 how many hours to peak? I've been doing 1.2.2 feed at 7pm and it's ready to use by 6am for me in the mornings but I wanna test this out maybe once every few baked to give it a good feed!!

PSA to everyone else (a.k.a. people living here in the Northern Hemisphere) that it’s currently winter in the Southern Hemisphere. So, countries in Oceania are currently having a cold weather.
