I’ve you’ve ever wanted to quit a job you hated to spend more time with your family, you’re not alone. Quitting my job was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done. But I knew I had to make a change if I wanted to be more present in my daughter’s life so I took the risk. And it ended up being the best decision I’ve ever made. I sold a total of TWO pieces before deciding to go with my gut and quit the office job I hated. It was freeing and exhilarating but also terrifying to jump into the unknown and let go of my security. While I wouldn’t necessarily recommend quitting your job on a whim like I did, I will say that flipping furniture is not only an excellent creative release, but a great way to earn an income as well. We’ve even added a second sweet girl to our family and I flipped furniture my entire pregnancy and was able to take a much longer (and paid) maternity leave.
