I did theeesee when I created their profile and never had problems with cr4p content showing up. I like adding show recommendations. I wish Netflix had this function too bc “kids profile” is too broad and there’s some shows I dont like my kids watching

They’ll still recommend it in the during the video, that’s why I stop letting my daughter on it. If she wants to watch YouTube she uses my account on the tv in the living room and i usually pick the video for her.

this is exactly what we do! only allow nat geo kids, PBS kids, official Disney channel kids etc so we never see that weird stuff that pops up on regular ytkids

Safe Vision is also a really great app alternative to YouTube kids. Same youtube videos but just like you did here you have to add what channels/videos they can watch yourself
