I do not disagree, but salary should be one of the factors to consider when choosing where to train. There are some programs out there that pay 100k+.

I think when you have a spouse (and thus the supplemental income), some of those “luxuries” become very realistic and useful, especially for female residents. house cleaning services, grocery delivery, anything that saves time on housework is VERY worthwhile
