I do not understand this. Whenever we take my mother out, she always sits in the front, my husband drives. She is the matriarch of the family and for us it’s a sign of respect. Never had a problem with it.

Stop putting the elderly in the front seat!!!! Everyone wants to follow some myth about how it shows respect, but it doesn’t. 1) Your partner is #1 or just don’t get married; 2) Elderly people cannot withstand the airbag deploying. Those airbags do some serious damage and also death in some cases. It’s why the elderly and children should not be in the front seat. 3) If the mother cannot understand that her son is married and they’re a 1-flesh team then she’s the problem. 🤷🏽♀️
