okay so hot take (as an atheist that grew up catholic 💀), I actually hate when people call god a woman. A woman wouldn’t let children die, wouldn’t let cancer kill, wouldn’t let r*pists exist, etc. so god IS a man. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

God doesn’t view people as worthy because of their works. God is good and God is love, so he encourages good deeds, but your worth isn’t measured by good deeds. Not even one bit. God’s love isn’t earned. It’s freely given. The only thing God asks of you is to accept his love, and in turn, have a relationship with him. He wants YOU, not your performance. So when Christians only do good things for the sake of heaven, they aren’t real followers of Christ and have completely missed the ENTIRE point. The point is to do good things for the sake of serving. Literally “serving” is the word that’s used. Serve people. Serve God. We do good things to serve, not for a reward. The good comes from serving. I’m sorry that Christians with another idea have misrepresented the Christian belief, as defined by the Bible, to you. No amount of good deeds will grant you the reward of heaven. So what you’re saying isn’t biblical, but it’s an interesting take nonetheless. Just thought I would share the Christian perspective. :)

except no good things can earn you salvation. it's only through faith in Jesus Christ. we aren't rewarded for how "good" we are. and when you're a Christian doing good deeds is just a fruit of the Spirit not something you do becouse you fear hell, it's all becouse of God
