A Declaration of Self-Determination for Afrodescendants For centuries, Afrodescendants in the United States of America have carried the burdens of a nation that has given little in return. We have fought in its wars, built its infrastructure, fueled its economy, and endured its institutions of oppression—yet we are still expected to accept subjugation, silence, and stagnation. Let it be known: we are not asking for permission to be free. We are declaring our right to determine our own future—free from outside control, exploitation, or manipulation. Every nation has claimed its own version of “heaven on earth,” yet Afrodescendants are denied the dignity of self-governance and the basic human rights that should be universally guaranteed. This ends now. We are pursuing our sovereignty. We will achieve it—with or without your input. We reject the idea that our liberation is negotiable, or that our desire for self-determination threatens the world order. If the comfort of the current systems relies on our continued oppression, then let that comfort collapse. To those who spread ignorance and offer unsolicited opinions about our calls for reparations, independence, and justice—your time has passed. Your voices, rooted in fear and denial, have no power over us. You cannot threaten us with what we’ve already survived. The truth is, your fear stems from the knowledge that we are rising, and that the era of unchecked exploitation is coming to an end. A time is coming when the Western powers will face such a reckoning that they will have no choice but to release their grip. And when that moment comes, Afrodescendants will not beg or plead—we will build. To our people: stand firm. To the world: take notice. We will have our justice, our nation, and our freedom—on our own terms. We can and should acknowledge who we are and where we come from. Most importantly, we need our own sovereign black nation. We need more than to control our own communities. We need to control our own destiny. we need our own country. Our own Black nation. Self-determination, reparations and separation. Text the word
