All you have to do for that crossmember is lift the trans slightly and then the crossmember come out of the top super easily, I’ve replaced the auto trans in my truck twice and it’s always come out easy by taking it out of the top and spinning it to that is it parallel to the frame

Done 2 in my driveway first was a 97 ext cab short box second was a 95 rcsb I swaped a nv4500 and Dana 60 axles I spread the frame with a jack all and two bolts

My starter did the same thing, fried a brand new one cause the bolts fell out and the gear didn’t line up

Lollll you don’t need to spread the frame to get that crossmember in or out you said it in the video it’s got a taper for a reason just angle it right and you can tap it out with a mallet and slide it right back into place by hand
