I love her character just from this teaser ALONE, it might just be me, but this teaser showed so much of who she is, and it's so raw and relatable and what I mean is the " white swan" is a mask, a emotionless and "painless" version she hides behind so she can protect her true self in a land covered in the military and death due to the snow, as her "black swan" is her true unforgettable self that is emotional about what has happened with in her life. her line at the end of "I have not felt pain in years" is more a play on her emotional mask then her physical pain. but again this is how I see it.

i also lost a family relative — a brother of mine, so i really relate to her. everyone seems to expect something from odette, to perform with emotions and stuff but odette recognizes her emotions as not suitable when performing, that’s why she looks empty because she couldn’t express it properly, tbh she’s literally just like me — i’m always expected to do better when i didn’t have much time to grieve properly for my dead brother people would always tell me to express my feelings but we all know there is no such time for grievance, if there is; i wouldn’t have felt pressured. i kept my emotions for so long, my brother’s death affected my thinking and my emotions too, i couldn’t process anything properly anymore, i’m sure that’s what odette felt, it must have been very hard for her.
