continuity mode doesn't measure capacitors, it tests for shorted ones only. thats why its giving continous values. and for the beep, on a good one it beeps and stops. but if beeping continues or no beep at all its a dead one. but for real measuring of capacitors, alwady the meter has capacitor mode. but thanks for the good work.
