It take a lots to shock us when it comes to dogs because we think we've seen it all but today was a really challenging day, but ultimately a rewarding one with a great ending. This poor little girl was in absolute agony with skin disease, mixed with some possible other external factors, which we'll get to at a later stage. Our job is very much to save the dogs and as we were driving in the truck with her screaming, I genuinely didn't think she was going to make it. Even as the medical team worked on her throughout the day, I expected my phone to ring with the bad news at any moment. She just seemed way too sick. But as the day progressed and the medicines got into her, the oxygen, and people kept vigil, she started to make a fight back. I genuinely don't know if she's going to make it. Part of me wasn't going to share this video until we had a bit of happier news but at the same time I thought it would be nice to have everybody willing her on. This is the reality we face and I think it's important for people to see it along with all the happy dog stories that we share. I thought long and hard about a name and the best I could come up with was Fluffy. The reason for that is she has some fluffy fur on her back and I just dream of a day where we can get her healthy, fit, and her fur back. She's a little fluffy dog, having lots of fun. I might be naive and bad news could arrive at any moment but as I sit here looking at her, that's the dream that I have. Keep Everything crossed for little fluffy If you can she's got a huge battle ahead of her.
