Unfortunately very typical... too many cops get wrapped up in their fee-fees the moment any civilian fails to show them the deferential azz-kissing they think their badges entitle them to. And then when he was correctly called out for misstating the law, that's when the retaliation began. And then cops and their apologists whine about people not liking or trusting them. But when you upset a McDonald's employee, they forget to put your BBQ sauce in the bag...when you upset a CS rep, they might hang up on you...when you upset a clerk, maybe they forget to file your paperwork... BUT if you upset a cop, you could end up saddled with BS charges, or even ex judiciously unalived. LEO's have to be held to a higher standard, than is typically seen across the country.
