They also looked down on them from what I heard. They saw or at least depicted for propaganda purposes the Persian man as weak and effeminate ruled by their woman. Which isn’t exactly surprising and the Romans would depict their enemies similarly

It was the Romans not the Greeks who called people they didn’t like Barbarians. It’s ironic since modern high tech society is in N Europe

Greeks love Iranians. The first thing as an Iranian that Greek people tell you when you are in Greece is: we are the same people, there was Hellenism, we have the same ancestors because of that. … and vice versa

Great Afghanistan :
My question to American , European and British society what is your standard of value?
Is a society successful because it generates money, or because it protects human dignity? Is morality measured by GDP, stock markets, and property prices or by justice, empathy, and responsibility toward those harmed in the past and those suffering today?
When millions struggle for a single meal while wealth is celebrated at the top, what exactly is being measured as progress ? And when history built on conquest and exploitation is treated as pride rather than accountability, what does that say about the moral scale being used?
If money is the primary measure, then say it honestly. But if humanity still matters, then explain where it stands in your hierarchy of values.

When Alexander the Great entered the lands of the Pashtuns, in Afghanistan and present day Pakistan, he said, “Every Afghan is a lion” and “God must love the Afghans, as he made them so beautiful.” Look it up.
