as a waitress ive seen some COMPETITORS. I had a man arrive first of the table give me his card im like ok cool and then a woman comes and uses the “bathroom” and gives me her card i say i already have a card and she BEGS me to use hers and she wouldnt let me say no so im like fine i give her the mans card and take hers THEN a grandma whos a regular literally almost CRY if i didnt take her card and then ANOTHER MAN comes up after everyoned ALREADY LEAVES. asks me to REFUND the card and use his instead. Most chaotic table ever and they were all very aggressive about having their card down.

I did this at a steakhouse for my dad when i was 20 and finally got a little money up; $800 bill for the 4 of us. I was so smug until we went to leave and he asks, "How are those new tires on your car?" Motherfucker had gotten my key fob from my wife, took my car, and got all 4 swapped while I was asleep (I work nightshift) days prior to us going out. I simply could never win with him.
