from personal experience, this is true. people are also more likely to ignore your personality if you're easy on the eyes, too. i used to be genuinely unpleasant to be around, but people around me constantly excused it as "shyness" or they just ignored it altogether. other people with similar personalities were essentially burnt at the stake 💔

Seriously though, there is at least SOME people that prefer ugly people over attractive people, and if were being honest, looking at an ugly guy or girl makes me feel not disgusted but it makes me feel a bit creeped out in a way, and also makes me feel egotistical around them, im not saying unattractive people are creepy, but it makes me feel disturbed and a pinch of uncomfortableness when i look at them, maybe its out of pity or what else, but still, even if you are unattractive there is still a person for you, if you havent found that person, you succeeded in trying, but failed at accomplishing it, you are beautiful in a way, but there wont always be a happy ending for anybody, even attractive people, not just ugly people
