Same shit happened to me this morning (literally used Apple Music hours prior) and ive BEEN paying for the plan w Verizon so. If you pay for the subscription, all you songs come back though!! (I hate Apple.)

simply switching to spotify will not solve the root of the issue, which is handing over the control of your playlists to a company. so you can either build your own library by downloading all the songs and storing them yourself, or at least periodically export your apple/spotify playlists so you at least have the names of the songs stored locally on your device.

Get it for like a quick month export everything on e it returns (it should it happened to me unless it was just a glitch) then switch to something else i saitched to spotify i like some of the features better and they have an actual relevant shuffle system that plays actually related music
