@prophetschooltv: Divine Mind vs. Carnal Mind What if the trial of Jesus and Barabbas wasn’t just a historical event, but a symbolic story taking place within each of us? In his lectures, Bill Donahue taught that the Bible is primarily an allegory of human consciousness. From this perspective, Jesus represents the Divine Mind—the higher consciousness within us that is connected to God, wisdom, love, and spiritual awakening. Barabbas represents the lower, carnal mind—the ego, fear, conditioning, and the beliefs we’ve inherited from tradition without questioning. When Pilate asks the crowd, “Whom shall I release?” the choice becomes symbolic. The crowd chooses Barabbas over Jesus. Why? According to Donahue’s interpretation, the crowd represents collective human consciousness. We naturally choose the familiar over the transformative. We cling to inherited beliefs, religious traditions, dogma, and the voice of the ego because they feel safe. The Divine Mind, however, calls us beyond conformity into direct spiritual experience—and that path requires inner change. In this symbolic reading, Barabbas is released because humanity often frees the lower mind to rule its life, while the Divine Mind is rejected, ignored, or “crucified.” The crucifixion becomes a picture of what happens whenever higher truth is sacrificed in favor of fear, habit, and external authority. But the story doesn’t end there. The resurrection symbolizes the awakening of Divine Consciousness within us. It reminds us that the Divine Mind can never truly be destroyed. It waits patiently to be recognized, embraced, and expressed in our daily lives. The question the story leaves each of us with is timeless: Which mind are you choosing today? The conditioned mind that repeats what it has always been taught? Or the Divine Mind that leads to inner freedom, wisdom, and a direct experience of God? Perhaps the greatest battle in the Bible isn’t between two men in Jerusalem. Perhaps it’s the battle taking place within every human heart #occult #wisdom #bible #divine #jesus

Barabas means "son of the father" and Barabas's name was also Jesus.

I AM THAT I AM :
Fear is loud and demands immediate attention. Love is quiet and gets postponed indefinitely. That imbalance is the whole diagnosis.
Fear evolved to keep you alive, which means it’s wired to override everything else the instant it activates. This made sense when the threats were physical and immediate. It makes far less sense now, when most modern fear has nothing to do with survival and everything to do with imagined humiliation, imagined loss, imagined rejection that hasn’t happened and often never will. The nervous system doesn’t know the difference. It responds to the imagined threat with the same intensity it would give a real one, and love, which requires openness and risk simply cannot compete with that wind of alarm.
This is why fear wins by default in most people’s lives, not because it’s stronger, but because it’s louder and faster, while love requires a kind of deliberate, sustained attention that fear never asks for. You don’t have to choose fear. It chooses itself. Love has to be chosen, repeatedly, on purpose, often while fear is still shouting in the background.
The tragedy Hall is naming isn’t that people don’t feel love. It’s that love keeps losing the argument to fear before it ever gets a fair hearing. The heart wants to open. The nervous system keeps closing it faster than the heart can finish the sentence.
You were never given too little capacity to love. You were only given a fear response that keeps interrupting it before it finishes speaking.
