There will eventually be two main lines of Piggy Power systems. Right now, we are mainly focused on the heat-first line. As these systems currently stand, they make the most sense in colder climates where the heat is already valuable. You burn whatever fuel is available, use that heat for space heating or hot water, and generate electricity as a useful byproduct at the same time. The future line will flip that around. Those systems will be designed primarily to produce electricity, with usable heat recovered as the byproduct. That is where the larger garbage-powered systems come in, including systems capable of supporting an entire home. Both versions will still be built around the same basic goal. Capture as much of the available energy as possible instead of throwing most of it away. Depending on insulation, heat recovery, and the way the system is installed, the target is roughly 70 to 90 percent overall useful energy efficiency. The paper pucks are only the beginning. Stay tuned, folks. God bless. OfficialPiggyPower.com
