If half the population disappeared it would have both high consequences yet it’ll be good ofc people will mourn but they’ll move on and the less resources that’ll be used will help/improve the environment ofc but it’ll eventually get back to 8 billion overtime in a few decades or even years but people may think it’s a good idea we don’t have the choice of who disappears and who don’t as many important roles / figures could disappear like pilots/air tracking control etc etc that are vital for man kind to continue
