It is heartbreaking to see a community that should be built on shared love and joy turn so toxic and cruel, completely forgetting the human being on the other side of the screen. Words have the power to build people up, but when weaponized by a crowd, they can destroy a life. We cannot call ourselves a community if we allow cruelty, harassment, and cyberbullying to hide behind a fan account. It is time to break this cycle of toxicity. We need to make one thing completely clear: Ni-ki is not to blame for this tragedy. He did absolutely nothing wrong and could never have anticipated the terrible actions of the internet crowd. It is incredibly unfair to push anger onto him when the real, sole cause of this heartbreak was the relentless cyberbullying from toxic individuals online.
