I totally agree with you on how harsh people have been, but to be fair, it's not everyone. There are still many fans who know how to separate someone's public life from their private life. Like anyone else, he has every right to do whatever he pleases with his life and career. When he actually drops new work, true fans, without falling into toxic or obsessive behavior, will be right there to support him. The real issue here, especially with him, is his inner circle or environment. It often comes across as lacking discretion, setting up these 'sightings' that try to pass as spontaneous, basically giving haters endless material for speculation, mockery, and outright exhaustion. It's completely unnecessary, yet it keeps happening. Plus, while fans are eager to see him working, he doesn't really owe anyone explanations about whether he has upcoming projects or not. I think he's actually been very patient with all these out-of-context demands and the mockery, though, he really needs to wake up and realize that these orchestrated little games are actively destroying the image his audience has built of him. Let's not forget: at the end of the day, people in the arts, whether they act, sing, or whatever, are just human beings, but it is strictly the audience that gives them their relevance and keeps them alive in this industry. He shouldn't lose sight of that. Does that make sense?
