@entertainment.tok5: You never think you'll have to defend your own child for simply existing... 💔 Last night at around 9:30pm, two grown women came knocking on my door to complain about my 4-year-old non-verbal autistic son making noises while playing in his own garden. The thing is... those sounds are how he communicates. He's the sweetest little boy and wouldn't hurt a fly. Yet instead of showing kindness or understanding, they chose to complain about a disabled child being himself. As if life isn't already overwhelming enough, we're also caring for our beautiful 2-week-old newborn. Autistic children deserve acceptance, not judgment. Parents of disabled children already carry enough without having to justify why their child exists in their own home. If this reached you, please help spread awareness.
