Once u get the hang of it diesel is sm nicer to drive, swapping from diesel to petrol is hell clutch is so sensitive in petrols felt like I was a brand new driver with how often I was conking

I thought my 2006 Peugeot 307 1.6 petrol was sensitive. I replaced the clutch in 2025 😀

I started in a diesel once you get the hang of it it’s way easier and better to drive clutch and brake in at all times when starting the car and just take your time letting off at biting point x

i learned in a diesel and my first car is a petrol 😭😭 it’s not a huge difference tbh and you get used to it eventually

Girlll I’ve just gone from a 1.4 no turbo petrol old polo. To a fat 2L diesel ITS SO FAST 🤣🤣🤣 double hp without even mapping it ahahahah. It took me a serious minute to understand what gears it wants to be in but I LOVE ITTT

It’s literally the exact same, most competent drivers should pick it up in about 5 minutes. Clutch biting point will be a little bit different but diesel is easier to drive as the clutch bites a lot lower so are more forgiving. You’ll get used to it pretty quick
