100% not the players fault. The parents sued the stadium, not the player. Because yes it’s a baseball game and one could assume a fly ball but it’s a business and that stadium lacked in taking all proper protective precautions, nets, so they were held accountable. Thats why now major stadiums have nets.

She had a skull fracture, bleeding and swelling and was put on anti seizure meds but then weaned off and is doing ok now and fully recovered. This happened in 2019

It's not the players fault, there should have been better safety at the stadium and parents should have been more careful with bringing kids.
