Here’s my take on a slightly controversial item: the toddler learning tower. Don’t get me wrong, it’s brought us joy in the kitchen, but it’s also brought along more chaos. 🥲 Yes, the tower has an adjustable step option. Even on the lowest step my daughter will still find a way to use the shape openings on either side to give her leverage and climb onto the counter. Straight up houdini. My daughter is the definition of an active toddler (like many others), so naturally, instead of wanting to stand properly she will rock herself from side to side moving the whole tower with her. The thought of her being able to tip the whole thing over is immediately terrifying. Oh and her other favorite thing to do is push the entire tower around the house like a shopping cart 🙃 this thing is HEAVY, so I dunno if it’s our wood floors or my toddler’s super human strength. I’m actually really sad because prior to buying I was eyeing this exact toddler tower for months (couldn’t justify spending $100), but didn’t anticipate the potential hazards that would come with it :/ I might just need to wait a few more months to try again, but for now I’m not taking any chances. She’s naturally curious and still learning, but it’s just not what I had in mind!
