Once I had been fucking around with the scanner on my printer while scanning in a document for University. I accidentally sent the scan of my smooshed up face along with the form and didn’t notice for over a month until I went to check it later. 🫠

My nervous system can’t tell the difference between sending an important email and being chased by a bear. The adrenaline rush is real. Then you get another rush after you send and read it back, realising you absolutely crushed it. You read it over and over again, congratulating yourself on how clever you are. Like smelling your own farts. But you still panic the next time you send an email because what if this time is the time you screw up??!! I work in corporates, by the way. I save zero lives.
