I am pro Palestine but this doesn't make sense and isn't fair. Jews were in the diaspora for 2000 years mixing with locals. That doesn't take away that it's their original homeland. I am Hungarian, my people migrated from central Asia to Europe 1300 years ago and I'm almost fully eastern European genetically.

Source? Also most of Jewish communities were for centuries outside Israel of course they would develop such a thing after all their ancestors haven't seen a single olive tree in centuries. Same thing would happen to Arabs in the region they would lose tolerance to olive trees as well.
