Sometimes it can also be if the tooth structure decayed a little bit or got a bit weaker where the bracket was, then when removing it that part can potentially chip. They usually offer a composite repair if it happens. A little bit of composite should fix that right up and it’s a simple and non invasive treatment to do. Might just need some polishing every so often and replacement in a few years if it gets stained etc but a safe and effective treatment to get done 👌

Dental therapist here. Do teeth whitening first with your dentist, followed by composite bonding. Composite needs to be matched to your tooth shade and the material cannot be whitened so I recommend whitening first!
