I want to feel bad but then I remember they had a loaded gun with no safety in around a toddler and then I got pissed off cause America will do ANYTHING but protect their kids from guns

she should count her blessings that he didnt shoot and kill himself. As an Australian the thought of having loaded guns lying around is mind blowing, guns and bullets have to be locked up separately here. Hope she and the baby were OK.

She and baby died. Who’s fault? Was that leaving a gun out?

Poor child. I hope he was removed from the scene/house immediately so not to witness this.

In my country the mother would be charged and her kid would be taken away.

That’s a 100% on them for letting the kid access the gun

Wow in New Zealand you have to store your guns and your ammo in separate places and locked up so the kid would have to find keys unlock both load the gun and then fire it so we know that wasn’t gonna happen maybe that’s something that they should think about. But unfortunately they’re more worried about protection and then their kid goes and shoot them

I don’t leave scissors near my kids much less a loaded gun… we live in Canada so (that’ll never be an issue )

Australian and confused here. A loaded gun in the house is already such a foreign concept but loaded and just sitting in a night stand? 🤯🤯🤯

Should’ve had the firearm secured. It’s the adult’s fault.

Lucky she wasn’t killed, father should be charged with improper storage and child endangerment
