I don’t know why you think it’s okay to record this lady and post it on TikTok so people can mock her? You can clearly see that she’s distressed and panicking, yet someone’s following her around with a camera instead of showing a bit of empathy. And for everyone saying, “She should’ve just arrived on time” we have absolutely no idea what happened before this video. Most people know they need to arrive at the airport early, so something unexpected could easily have happened. She could’ve been stuck in traffic, had her car break down, had a train cancelled or delayed we simply don’t know. Imagine being visibly distressed and panicking, only to have someone follow you around filming you and then post it on social media for thousands of strangers to laugh at and judge. How would you feel if someone did that to you?

The guy who recorded this… shame on you. You can clearly see that woman is frustrated. Why pull your phone out and record her instead of showing some compassion? From what I can gather, she’s telling the girl that if it wasn’t for her, they wouldn’t have missed their flight because she’d lost her bag and they were looking for it. People don’t know what someone else is dealing with. Missing a flight can mean paying for a hotel, booking another flight, losing money, missing work, or missing an important event. Not everyone is rich enough to absorb those extra costs. I’m disgusted by how quickly people reach for their phones instead of offering help. Imagine going through something upsetting yourself and having people stand there recording instead of showing compassion, only to post it all over social media. People really need more empathy.

The poor girl said can you stop videoing my mum please and you didn’t stop. That’s out of order. They’re clearly distressed. People should show a little more sympathy. I know it’s not the right way to behave in public but the lack of help and following her around probably caused more distress

From what I understand of the video, the daughter lost her bag and went to look for it and the family were waiting for her to come back. This resulted in them missing the gate closure. Such a shame you had to film a family while already in distress.
