There’s a picture of the aftermath of the Aurora shooting that has a pink flip flop that was left behind that confirmed and other evidences that made the story real. The redditor even testified on court about the shooter.

My best friend and I had tickets that showing of Dark Night. On the way my friend threw up all over my dashboard and windshield when we were exiting on Alameda from 225. We parked at the gas station over near Target to clean up. She kept throwing up and I decided to skip the movie and take her over to University where we found out she was pregnant. The ER dept began getting crazy by the time we got discharged. We found out about the theater shooting on our way out of the hospital. It was like everyone was talking about it but also trying to keep it quiet. Her sweet baby saved our lives.

My daughters friends mom was one of the people that passed away! Rest In paradise Rebecca Wingo. My mom took my daughter a few days after to put flowers on Ms. Wingo’s Cross that was at the memorial!

I was supposed to be there with my dad. As soon as we parked, my dad said he didn’t think it was a good idea and we should just get a Redbox movie and go home. I was 9, and very disappointed, made a HUGE fuss ab it but he stood his ground. First thing I saw the next morning was the news report about the shooting on the kitchen tv.
