Place your hand on your heart, and let us pray for August together: Holy Heavenly Father, please give us courage in this August. Lord, when we face the darkness of this world, when we face the temptation of sin, and when we face the pressures and challenges of life, please strengthen our hearts. Father, when we step out of our homes and face different situations and trials each day, remind us: We do not rely on our own wisdom. We do not rely on our own strength. But we rely on Your Word, we rely on Your grace, and we rely on the truth that You are always with us. Lord, help us remember the example of Jesus. When Jesus walked on this earth, He faced suffering, shame, and the cross, but He never turned away from Your will. The world saw the cross as a sign of defeat, but You showed us: It was not defeat, it was redemption. Jesus gave His life, defeated sin, defeated death, and brought us true hope. So Father, in this August, please help us stand firm. Let Your Word become our strength. Help us draw closer to You every day, trust You more deeply, and live a life that pleases You. Because our victory does not come from ourselves, but from the Lord Jesus Christ who gave His life for us and rose again. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
