Cats can touch my legs but not on the stairs. Start with gently nudging them with my toe. That nudge gets progressively less gentle. They figure it out pretty quick and get pets once I step off the stairs.

I constantly remind my fur babies that I have no life insurance. If I go, they go.

At least she didn’t start to go down the stairs, see you were going too, get excited and stop halfway through. That’s what my parents dog does and she’s fat af so you can’t go around her 😂
