My piercer doesn’t recommend “surgical” steel because I guess that term is unregulated outside of medical use. Titanium or gold only.

I can’t do surgical steel or yellow gold because I’m sensitive to nickel. I have to use titanium or white gold. My piercings do so much better now.

I’ve had both sides of my nose pierced twice. 1/10 definitely do not recommend 😅 thicker the scar tissue, more painful it will be
