I got broken up with June 26, dated that girl for 2.8 years. I met a girl last Sunday and I took her too see this movie yesterday. The entire time that I held her hand while watching the movie felt like agony. I was screaming inside not even focusing on the movie bc of how much I wanted too let go of her hand. I was the one who initiated the hand holding bc I saw she was cold and I’m a natural warm guy. She’s a really nice girl and she doesn’t even deserve an inkling of my thoughts of agony. But all I could think about how I just felt empty. I lost something so huge and attached too who I was as a person. My ex really broke something in me. Now I’m going too college next week and I’m going too be surrounded by girl who are probably gonna want me bc I’m not a bad looking guy. And I do want too mess around but I know I should try and heal first. I really am just venting I’m sorry for whoever reads this I’m just so confused and I wish I never met that girl

The entire time I watched that movie I realized how unhealed I truly was. I just swept it under the rug and “moved on”. I waited for 4 years and year after year we tried again and again and every single time I lose more and more respect and love. He turned into someone I don’t even know anymore. A person that feeds off attention from so many women that don’t care about him. The biggest ego when all I did was care for him. I was there before he lost all the weight and got attention from women. When he was a chubby kid from NY and transferred to our elementary school in the 5th grade. He was my best friend. Then in 9th grade we were eachothers first everything. We dated for a year and I broke up with him because of his anger and emotional unavailability. So after that i tried year after year treating him the same like I always do, cooking, gifting him Spider-Man everything, and legos, etc. Things we both loved doing together. So after I watched this I made the final decision to let go. I don’t love him anymore and I don’t know who he is. The person he has turned into. He’s going to the marines and I’m going to college to persue my education focusing on myself. I hope he realizes the good woman he lost.
