he isn’t even a chequebook manager, if you convert what ferguson spent at united to modern evaluation things take a turn, in todays market he would be spending well over 3 billion adjusting do’r football and currency inflation, brother signed ferdinand for 46M in 2002, granted pep did spend a lot of money even for the modern age so did other coaches like mourinho or zidane who came to a madrid team and still spent 440M.
