people act as if this child was in imminent mortal danger...she's at home and prob watch cartoons. I'm not condoning the fathers actions at all, let me make that clear, but growing up in the 90s I was home alone frequently throughout my childhood because we lived in the country and were too poor to have a baby sitter. The court systems force us to allow parenting time with parents like this! I had a compilation of photos and videos of my daughters dad drunk passed out mid day and the judge still gives him parenting time! Thankfully it came with rules. He was supposed to download an app to communicate with us and has failed to do so. Not doing that made his visitation null thank god! They don’t step in until something like this happens!

I’ll never understand how a parent can let their alcoholism come before their child. As a recovering alcoholic myself I swore my daughter would never see me drunk and by Gods grace she’s almost three and I’ve been able to keep that promise so far
