@lambo.242: The Bahamas may soon have a new digital asset exchange, but after FTX, trust will not come easily. Bahamas Ovryde says its technology is designed so the company cannot access customer funds, while Benchmark would be responsible for operating the platform and meeting regulatory requirements. However, the exchange is still awaiting approval from the Securities Commission of The Bahamas. The structure may be different, but investors should still understand custody, withdrawals, cybersecurity and the risks involved before using any crypto platform. In the digital asset industry, trust should be proven, not simply promised. #bahamiantiktok🇧🇸 #bahamiantiktok #bahamastiktok #bahamasovryde

The Bahamian Digital Nomad :
as long as it allows Bahamians to buy crypto with Bahamian debit and credit cards as well as sell crypto and deposit to Bahamian bank accounts, I would use the platform. However I wouldn't store any funds on the platform for holding. I've already learned my lesson with FTX.

Anything with government partnerships gets a no from me not saying this to discredit the video in any way however the minute the government praises any "economic benefits for bahamians" I'll avoid like the plague
