Id agree with your take but homophobia/transphobia/sexism does not mean that you are scared of these people. the word phobia is used wrongly in these terms, but we still call it that way because its the widely known term even if the actual meaning is something else

not true, just because someone has trauma and is scared doesn't mean they can speak about everyone else in a disgraceful manner. I've had many traumas with men etc and that doesn't give me the right to say terrible stuff about every other men. you can be scared but you can't be rude and want everyone else of the same category to be treated worse than you

I was groomed for years and sexually assaulted by a trans man and I do not feel fear nor discomfort around trans people. that experience took years from my life but it has not changed my views in the slightest. I'm dating a trans girl at the moment. everyone deserves the right to freedom and expression. I think people should do what they want and live how they want, we only have the right to criticize how another person lives or identifies when it harms someone else.🤷
