I recognize the type of Christian I was, (lukewarm).Decided to just drop it all. & live with my flesh and its flaws and all.Rather than dealing with the constant feeling of tug and pull of heart and betrayal, the shame , the guilt , the fear of knowing the truth and still choosing to stray away. Just gonna back off completely and come back when it’s appropriate. & hope I get to be blessed to be able to have the Chance I have right now. So I may play the part truly and devoted with love . First I must grow up and wait for maturity to do its thing .

As a former atheist, I thought I was smarter than thousands of years of philosophy, I didn't realise that my faith was actually just based on science, science requires evidence to prove itself, faith is proven within and relies on studying your very core of what makes you, you. If you put your faith into science, it creates a paradoxical way of thinking, you require evidence to believe something yet you don't fully understand the science/evidence so must put your faith into the fact the scientists aren't just making things up as they go along, you put your faith into albeit very smart humans, best guesses based on patterns and repeated tests. A scientist will tell the preacher to prove to him God's existence, the preacher tells the scientist to prove he doesn't exist, both are stumped. Science can be proven wrong, your faith in God cannot be. When you finally have it in you accept Jesus into your life, theres no going back. When you see the light, the darkness becomes a lot less scary.

Umm really? Because there’s not even close to sufficient evidence for the Resurrection, and if you think there is, you might want to also check out Joseph Smith and Mormonism bc they have signed eyewitness statements. (I’m not a Mormon either).
