@mightyxero: In 2019, Nepali climber Nirmal Purja, known as Nims, set out to climb all 14 highest peaks in the world in just seven months. But he put the record second when lives were on the line. Right after summiting dangerous Annapurna, he learned a Malaysian doctor was stranded high up for over 40 hours with no oxygen. Exhausted and with almost no sleep, Nims and his team rushed back up, reached him in four hours, and brought him down. The doctor later passed away in the hospital. Weeks later on Kanchenjunga, they found two Indian climbers out of oxygen in the death zone. Nims gave away his own oxygen cylinder and spent hours trying to save them. Sadly, both climbers did not survive. Nims later said saving a life was always more important than any record. He still finished all 14 peaks in a historic six months and six days. True courage. Nims passed away recently in an avalanche on Broad Peak. His legacy lives on.
