I'm like REALLY new to comics and ts was the first single I ever read and first comic I ever read besides the occasional and icl I love it 😭. the writing isn't tremendous but I wouldn't say it's bad there was the whole racist Talia al ghul which I don't know about I'm like not aware of how it is racist but if it is I'll stop supporting it

My hot take is that I read the first TPB of it and it did absolutely nothing for me. It was pretty boring to be honest. I’d rather read Absolute Batman any day of the week.

I think it's the best Batman run since Scott Snyder's. Everyone seems to forget how bad Tom King's run was, how mid Tynion's was, and how messy Zdarsky's was. Is this book a bit slow? Yes, 100%. But it is consistent, and it is building up a larger narrative in a far more naturalistic way than past runs, which should be appreciated. It actually has fun while it takes it's time, instead of rushing to big moments just for the sake of hype.
