@hicarsondogss: Oh my heart. I wish you could have seen her in person. The sadness in her eyes was something you could feel from across the yard. She looked so lonely, so defeated. That’s the reality for so many shelter dogs. Day after day, they wake up in the same kennel with nothing to look forward to. No walks, nothing to do, no one to comfort them. I don’t know much about her yet. She came in as a stray, but she seems incredibly sweet. Very calm, very quiet, and a little reserved. She’s about 4 years old and already spayed, which means at some point, someone cared enough to have her fixed. Somehow, she still ended up here.
