Hey Bro, it's not only CLEARLY theft of your phone, it's also aggravated assault, AND kidnapping, because taking your phone impedes your ability to leave, as well as your freedom of movement since you wouldn't want to leave without it, so he's holding you against your will. Shocked cops didn't uphold the law and have this crazy dude arrested and hauled to jail for at least 3 charges. The cops were CLEARLY on the side of the perpetrator, in violation of their oath to uphold the law without bias. Even after being presented with evidence and probable cause that a crime has been committed he still wasn't arrested. Any credible police agency will put both of them on suspension, pending termination. Minimally they should be charged with violation of their oath to uphold the law. What's the update?
