![Insane Singapore Airlines A380 First Class Suites experience… There is Business Class. There is First Class. And then there is something on an entirely different level. The Singapore Airlines A380 First Class Suites. This was a return flight, flying from Asia to Singapore Changi Airport, enjoying a few hours inside The Private Room, before continuing onboard the Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 from Singapore to Shanghai Pudong International Airport. Retailing at close to US$12,000, this remains one of the most exclusive commercial airline experiences in the world. I’ve now had the opportunity to fly Singapore Airlines First Class Suites three times, and every single time it reminds me why so many aviation enthusiasts consider it the benchmark for First Class. After spending more than eight hours inside The Private Room, which I’ll review separately, it was finally time to board the upper deck of the A380. The First Class cabin consists of just 6 private Suites, each featuring sliding doors, a separate leather armchair, and a full size bed. If two neighboring Suites are available, they can be combined into a double Suite. Mine was Suite 1F, an incredibly private and futuristic space. Within minutes of boarding, the crew welcomed me with a refreshing drink, introduced every feature of the Suite, and helped me customize every meal, right down to how I wanted my breakfast prepared. What impresses me most, however, is the crew. Every time I fly SQ, the hospitality feels genuinely warm, effortless, and among the very best in the world.
